The Best Spots To Watch The UAE National Day Fireworks

Ready for the long weekend? There will be some incredible fireworks displays in Dubai to celebrate the UAE’s 51st National Day this weekend. We have rounded up a few of the best spots to catch all the action!

The Beach, JBR

The Beach at JBR is one of the most popular places in the city for National Day fireworks. The waterfront complex will hold National Day fireworks celebrations on Friday, December 2nd, at 8pm. Grab some dinner before the fireworks at one of JBR’s numerous restaurants, including McGettigans, The Noodle House, PF Changs and Shake Shack.

The Pointe

If you fancy a bit of dinner with a great view of the fireworks, the Pointe has an endless list of international restaurants with perfect views of the action. You can make a day of it with a bit of shopping from the huge collection of retail outlets. The Pointe fireworks never disappoint, so get yourself booked in early!

Festival Bay

Dubai’s Festival City Mall’s waterfront extension will put on a showstopping fireworks display this National Day weekend. The fireworks will be set off in unison with the mall’s laser and fountain show for an experience that will delight the senses! There will also be a live performance of the UAE National anthem and drummers and traditional bands. To finish off the incredible fireworks event, there will be a live performance by Emirati singer Fayez Al Saeed before Dubai Bling star DJ Bliss takes the stage.

Al Seef

Al Seef’s traditional creek-side venue will show off some spectacular firework displays this National day. The fireworks will be between 8pm and 9pm, and there will also be a parade taking place at 7pm. If you want to start the National Day celebrations early, there will be a range of activities in Al Seef from 4pm, including kid’s workshops, henna artists, falconry and art and crafts.

Global Village

For the ultimate family-friendly National Day celebrations, head to Global Village for an incredible firework display, international food and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. The firework festival will take place over four days, from December 1st until December 4th, so there is plenty of time to get in on the action.

As well as the usual entertainment and activities, there will also be an orchestra of 33 musicians, a violinist, a harpist and lots of other live performances. The fireworks will kick off at 9pm every night, so you can catch the shows, grab some food and check out the floating market beforehand.
