The Best Sports Bars In Dubai
May 18, 2023
Sports enthusiasts and casual fans alike rejoice as this weekend promises a captivating lineup of sports, no matter what your sport. If you’re in Dubai and seeking the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a few drinks while watching high-quality sports from across the world, look no further! On the TV this weekend is the Champions Cup Final, some crucial Premier League matches, the PGA Championship, the GAA hurling and football championships, and legendary Irish boxer Katie Taylor is also in action on Saturday night! So, where are we heading?
Spike Bar, Emirates Golf Club
With 16 screens around the bar and a spacious terrace, this is a great bar at Emirates Golf Club to watch the weekend’s sport. The terrace overlooks the 9th/18th greens of the Majilis Course at EGC and is a stunning spot to watch the sun go down and cheer on your team.

Phileas Fogg, Montgomerie Golf Club
Another golf club, Phileas Fogg, is one of the leading bars to watch the Premier League action, in particular. An upmarket British sports bar is the perfect place to enjoy great food, Dubai skyline views and thrilling football action. Prepare to immerse yourself in a sports-watching experience like no other at this expansive venue, boasting a restaurant, sports pub, garden, and amphitheatre. With a capacity to accommodate up to 1000 enthusiastic fans simultaneously, get ready for an epic atmosphere that electrifies every moment of the thrilling matches. They also happen to serve up one of the most mouthwatering roast dinners in all of Dubai, making it a true haven for sports enthusiasts whose teams happen to be playing on a Sunday. Get ready to indulge in both the game and a delectable culinary delight at this exceptional establishment.

McCafferty’s – Wafi, JVC and Al Furjan
No matter which one you visit, McCafferty’s is always one of the best places in Dubai to go with regard to the atmosphere. Of course, as an Irish pub, GAA is going to dominate the screens across the weekend, and it’s probably the safest bet if that’s your sport, as other bars may favour Premier League action. JVC may gather a larger crowd, but the branch in Al Furjan is equally as nice in terms of food, drink and service, and their new location in Wafi is making waves on that side of the city. The hot chicken rolls and pints of Guinness never disappoint.

Garden On 8, Media One Hotel
Garden On 8 is certainly one of Dubai’s most underrated sports bars, but we love it. With large projector screens and a lovely garden area (obviously!) where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the games, there’s also a wide range of drink promos and great food. The burgers and pizzas are our top picks, and the picnic tables ensure there’s always a great atmosphere.

Fibber Magees
A hidden gem just off Sheikh Zayed Rd, Fibbers arguably serves up Dubai’s best pint of Guinness, and although we don’t want to get into that argument today, it’s undoubtedly a great place to enjoy the live sport. Step off the busy streets of downtown into this cosy Irish pub, and you’ll immediately feel like you’re back home in your local. With regular drink and food deals, it’s a great spot to put your feet up for the afternoon.

Goose Island Tap House
While maybe not technically a sports bar, Goose Island in the FIVE JVC boasts a massive array of screens dotted around the bar, as well as pool tables and a golf simulator. They also serve top-notch food and, as you may have guessed, really good craft beers.
