WATCH: Highlights Of Round 2 Of The Middle East GAA League

Round 2 of The Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce Middle East League took place on November 12 at Sharjah Wanderers Sports Club, Sharjah.

Hosted by Sharjah Gaels, teams from around the Middle East competed at intermediate and senior levels, culminating in the ladies’ and men’s senior finals’ shortly after 7 pm.

In the intermediate ranks, Qatar GAA took the spoils in both finals, with their men’s team winning in dramatic circumstances. It was a day Qatar GAA will certainly never forget, and what a way to kick off World Cup month for the Doha side.

In the senior competitions, the hosts took the ladies’ title, but they couldn’t complete the double, with Jumeirah Gaels taking the men’s crown to put them on top of the table.
