Get ready to laugh until your sides hurt! The Dubai Comedy Festival is back for its third year, running from May 12-21. The festival celebrates the best comedy talent from around the world and promises a week of incredible entertainment!

The Dubai Comedy Festival is a unique event that brings together some of the funniest acts from around the world. The festival has grown significantly since its inception in 2021 and now features over fifty comedians from twenty different countries performing at various venues across the city. From stand-up comedy to improv, sketch shows to musical comedy – there’s something for everyone at this year’s festival!

Jimmy Carr

• Jimmy Carr is one of the biggest names in UK comedy and is known for his quick-witted one-liners. He’ll be headlining the festival on Tuesday, May 16 and is sure to have you laughing out loud! Not only known for his stand-up, but Jimmy also hosts the hugely popular panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats as well as other huge UK comedy TV shows.

Dara Ó Briain

• Irish comedian and TV presenter Dara Ó Briain will be joining this year’s Dubai Comedy Festival! He’s best known for presenting BBC2’s Mock the Week, a topical panel show that has been running since 2005.

My Therapist Ghosted Me

• My Therapist Ghosted Me is an improv comedy troupe from the US made up of Irish comedians Vogue Williams & Joanne McNally. The ladies have been performing together since 2021, and their shows are known for being hilarious, unpredictable and completely off-the-cuff!

Jim Jefferies

• Jim Jefferies is an Australian comedian and actor known for his sharp, often controversial side-splitting humour. He also stars in Comedy Central’s late-night show The Jim Jeffries Show.

Rachel Feinstein

• Rachel Feinstein is a stand-up comedian and actress from the US. She’s known for her observational humour and has appeared in movies and TV shows on Comedy Central, HBO and Netflix. Rachel will perform at the festival on May 20th, and promises an evening of non-stop laughter!

Beth Stelling

  American stand-up comedian and writer Beth Stelling is known for her dark, self-deprecating humour. She has appeared on Comedy Central, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Chelsea Lately.

Atsuko Okatsuka

• Atsuko Okatsuka is a Japanese-American stand-up comedian and actress. She’s known for her vibrant, offbeat humour and was named one of Variety’s “Top 10 Comics to Watch” in 2022. If you want to be among the first to see some incredible up-and-coming talent, don’t miss Atsuko in Dubai!

• John Achkar is an Egyptian stand-up comedian and writer. He’s known for his observational humour and often performs at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal, Canada.
