Whether it’s Boxing Day or St. Stephen’s Day to you, December 26th is one of the biggest days of the year for sports fans! And to celebrate, we have teamed up with Fitzwilliam Sports to give you a chance to win a share, or all of, AED10,000!

We’ve picked 5 games, and 5 horse races and all you need to do is to get all 10 results correct! Simple as that! And to help you out, we’ve enlisted our resident experts to give you an insight into the games and races that will decide the winner(s)!

  • For all football games, you just need to select the winner or, if you fancy the draw, please ensure you comment “draw in Team A v Team B”
  • For the horse races, you just need to select the winner.

Football Matches:

Crystal Palace v Fulham

Everton v Wolves

Leicester v Newcastle

Aston Villa v Liverpool

Arsenal v West Ham

Horse Races (all Dec 26th):

Kempton 1.20pm

Kempton 2.30pm

Leopardstown 1.45pm

Leopardstown 2.55pm

Limerick 2.40pm

Football:

Crystal Palace v Fulham
Fulham make the short journey to Selhurst Park as they face Crystal Palace in an important mid-table clash. Fulham went three games without a win before the league broke up for the World Cup, so will be keen to get their positive season back on track.

Everton v Wolves
Everton welcome Wolves to Goodison Park, with both teams having endured terrible starts to the season. Wolves sit 20th in the league table, with just two wins on the board while Everton aren’t doing much better and sit just above the drop zone at 17th. Both teams will be keen to lay down a marker for the second half of the season, but a draw could be more likely.

Leicester v Newcastle
Newcastle won their last five on the bounce before the break and will be confident of keeping this run going when they travel to the King Power Stadium to face a Leicester side sitting 13th.

Aston Villa v Liverpool
Liverpool had a turbulent start to the season but may have just turned a corner, and a trip to Villa Park to kick off the second half of the season may be the Christmas present they were looking for. Away from home, they’re solid favourites, and it should be a straightforward tie.

Arsenal v West Ham
Arsenal, sitting top of the table, were likely annoyed by the World Cup break, but they should have no issues continuing that form against a West Ham side that have struggled this season.

Horse Racing:

Kempton 1.20pm – Kauto Star Novices’ Chase

McFabulous has barely put a foot wrong in his two completed chases (he had excuses when pulled up on his chase debut) and he’ll take the world of beating. Thyme Hill has no obvious right to reverse their Newbury placings, but the lightly raced GALIA DES LITEAUX has the potential to make it interesting. This winning pointer showed plenty of promise during her brief stint over hurdles and she made chasing look easy when strolling home on heavy ground at Bangor. She won’t be fazed should this develop into a thorough test of stamina in the mud. @racingpost

Kempton 2.30pm – King George VI Chase

L’Homme Presse continues to take every new challenge in his stride but, whether by accident or design, he is used to much stiffer tracks than this whereas BRAVEMANSGAME (nap) showed how well this course suits when winning at this meeting last Christmas. Paul Nicholls has trained four horses who have won the race at least twice and it is surely significant that he was soon talking of multiple wins in this for Bravemansgame as well. Stablemate Hitman is preferred to the 2020 winner Frodon of the other two Nicholls runners but Royale Pagaille wouldn’t be totally forlorn if the ground became really testing and Envoi Allen is not ruled out either. @racingpost

Leopardstown 1.45pm – [email protected] Novice Handicap Hurdle

Very open but perhaps the still relatively unexposed LOW STYLE can pick up the pieces on his return to hurdles after a spill over fences at Cork. Likely dangers include Itwasfate, Contrapposto and Makfils, with Wild Dollar a potential improver on handicap debut. @racingpost

Leopardstown 2.55pm – “Bet Through The Free Racing Post App” Handicap Chase

Rob James takes a valuable 7lb off EMBITTERED (nap) who holds a big chance in view of another win for his narrow Cork conqueror Big Debates. Final Orders can continue to prosper over fences and Sil Ver Klass is another who has been in fine form. @racingpost

Limerick 2.40pm – Guinness Faugheen Novice Chase

GERRI COLOMBE is hard to weigh up as he has been relatively untested in his career but has yet to be beaten. It’s not an attractive price about him but he looks the most likely winner. Kilcruit by contrast showed limitations in top company as a hurdler. Both look natural chasers. @racingpost
