These Venues Have Dropped Drinks Prices!

As we know, the start of 2023 saw Dubai Municipality remove the 30% tax on alcohol sales in Dubai. Retailers like MMI and African and Eastern followed suit and have already dropped their prices to pass this tax saving onto consumers. Great news for your home bar! But what about the pubs, restaurants and bars in Dubai? Due to the other overheads in restaurants and bars, it’s unlikely we’ll see such a drastic price reduction. However, some establishments have already reduced their drinks prices following the tax cut. Here is a list of the reduced-priced drinks we’ve found so far!

Mr Toad’s Pub and Kitchen

Mr Toads is always at the forefront of competitive drinks prices in Dubai, and they didn’t waste any time reducing their prices after the tax cut! Mr Toads’ new drinks prices will be hard to beat, especially with their all-day happy hour. Here are the new prices, all day, every day!

The Irish Village

One of Dubai’s oldest and most loved Irish pubs has reduced its prices to reflect the alcohol tax removal. All pints are returning to 2018 pricing at both the Garhoud and Studio One locations. That’s down to AED 42 per pint. Happy hour prices are also back from 11am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, offering bottled beer, spirits and wines for AED 35 each.

Phileas Fogg

Award-winning sports bar Phileas Fogg has introduced a tax-free happy hour following the alcohol price reductions. From midday to 7pm on weekdays, you can now get pints of beer, spirits, glasses of wine & prosecco from AED 29 each.

Fibber Magee’s

Dubai’s oldest and most iconic Irish pub has introduced reduced alcohol prices, and you can now get a pint for AED 35. Fibbers also has plenty of daily breakfast, lunch and dinner offers, so you can enjoy a cheap meal along with your cheap pint.

Rove Hotels

This hotel chain has reduced its alcohol prices in all nine of its location in Dubai. The price cut is one of few that has actually seen a full 30% price reduction, with pints priced at AED 30 and wine by the glass now at AED 35.
